Yumi and the Weather locks in BBC Radio 6 airtime

Brighton electronic pop solo act, Yumi and the Weather has been featured on Lauren Laverne’s Radio 6 Music show.

Yumi and the Weather’s latest single, What Will Become of the Wishing Well was featured on Lauren Laverne’s BBC Radio 6 programme on Thursday 9 December – with the station naming it the day’s #FantasticBeat.

If that wasn’t enough, Guy Garvey, once more of BBC Radio 6, has also taken notice of the band, playing The More I Hear the Less I Believe on his show.

Away from the airwaves, The Brighton electronic pop act, the work of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Ruby Taylor, recently released a lockdown EP Some Days on Small Pond Records and played at the Live is Alive series of gigs at the Brighton Dome.

Yumi and the Weather will be playing the Bad Pond festival on 19 December, a free livestream event headlined by none other than Jamie Lenman.
