Melting Vinyl, BIMM and Latest Music Bar are joining forces on a livestream event showcasing the best of up-and-coming Brighton talent.
Melting Vinyl Brighton is teaming up with BIMM Brighton and Latest Music Bar to bring us music fans a new live streamed show, featuring the best singer-songwriters and acoustic acts that the famous music uni has to offer.
Taking place on 25 March at 8pm, the evening includes the debut performance of five-piece neo soul and blues band The Midnight Lounge Band, which according to Melting Vinyl experts are a chip off the Arlo Parks and John Mayer blocks.
Following in these footsteps will be Kent-based duo, Reverse Lounging, who are described, quite understandably as “a couple of guys, lounging in reverse”.
“Featuring the amazing Erik Miles, guitarist of SMILE [Reverse Lounging] will bring us pop music with a relaxed atmosphere along with R&B anthems, where Lily Allen meets The Streets. Following their new single ‘A Comfortable Position’ released in January this is their debut performance and you do not want to miss it,” commented a Melting Vinyl expert.
Headlining the show will be French songwriter Louis Chapple.
“Having started writing music at the age of seven, Louis brings us an incredible new flavour of indie pop. Despite being hearing impaired, he has broken through extreme challenges providing him with a unique outlook on the world and we can’t wait to see what he has in store!”
Tickets are available on THIS LINK and all proceeds will be going to charity.
