Brighton’s Youth BLM movement has staged a march today through the centre of town.
Starting at the Peace Statue at Old Steine, the march was well attended by young people from across Brighton, including a strong showing from local school pupils.
Issues of racial inequality within the UK have been brought into sharp focus in the last 24 hours, with student protests in Pimlico and the publication of a heinous, deliberately innacurate report on systemic racism.
Youth BLM Brighton is currently using its social media platform not only to organise events, but to disseminate critically important educational literature on BAME matter.
