Your guide to live music in Brighton this week
The entire nation is in the bin. From the top to the bottom, the British people are seemingly dead set on showing their worst selves for all to see. Enter stage left: Garbage patriotism for a nonce-enabling monarch. You do really hate to see it.
Within this tidal wave of destitution hardy souls remain. We scratch and crawl, and carve out small footholds of joy in our everyday struggles. Among the swarm, a night in a loud, dark room can help us forget the misery outside. It is with this extended metaphor in mind that we are delighted to bring you a selection of live events in Brighton this week. None of the below are Royal-affiliated, and in fact, many are opposed to these corrupt systems of archaic servitude. Sing it loud and raise one to our Liz, may it all die with her.
